Material properties can be influenced by changes in temperature and relative humidity, which may affect the test results. In order to obtain reliable results that can be comparable to other laboratories, Touchstone has environmental chambers that can hold specimens to a specified temperature and relative humidity prior to testing. Touchstone is also able to perform the technically equivalent standard, ISO 291 – Standard Atmospheres for Conditioning and Testing Plastics.
