ASTM D3479 covers the specimen, apparatus, and procedures for the determination of the constant-amplitude tension-tension fatigue properties of polymer matrix composite materials.
This test method is designed to yield tensile fatigue data for material specifications, research and development, quality assurance and structural design and analysis. The primary test result is the fatigue life of the test specimen under a specific loading and environmental condition. It is recommended to have a sufficient number of specimens at each testing condition in order to have reliable and repeatable data to use in statistical analysis and design.
Please email info@trl.com or call (304) 547-5800 for information regarding test procedures, results, specimen information, pricing or any other ASTM D3479 questions you may have.
