ASTM C1341 testing covers the determination of flexural properties of continuous fiber-reinforced ceramic composites in the form of rectangular bars formed directly or cut from sheets, plates or molded shapes.
Several geometries are discussed in this method which utilizes either a three-point or four-point bend fixture. Touchstone Engineers can work with you in order to find which specimen geometry and loading type is best suited for your needs.
Materials properties determined by this test may be used for material development, quality control, and material flexural specifications.
Please email info@trl.com or call (304) 547-5800 for information regarding any ASTM C1341 questions you may have.
